Fuel'Express applications

Privacy policy

Your personal information in the Fuel’Express applications.

Last updated: 3 May 2026

1. Controller and scope

This policy covers the Fuel’Express applications, provided by APALIS Sarl in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It describes the processing of personal information in connection with access to services, orders and fuel supply management.

The Fuel’Express applications serve customers placing and tracking delivery orders as well as business users managing their organisation’s fuel supplies, sites and consumption.

2. Information concerned

Depending on the features you use, the Fuel’Express applications collect your name, phone number, email address, location, photos you provide and payment information. They also process account information, company details, sites and delivery addresses, and support communications.

Service information may include orders, fuel volumes, deliveries, invoices, payment references and payment statuses. For business use, it may also include authorised users, equipment, tanks and consumption readings linked to the organisation.

Technical information may be needed for operation and troubleshooting: app version, device type, IP address, connection logs and errors. The categories actually used depend on your application and how you use it.

3. How information is used

Information is used to manage your account and access, process orders, arrange and track deliveries, manage invoicing, produce requested reports and respond to support requests.

It is also used to secure access, prevent misuse and meet applicable obligations. Processing needed to deliver the service is based on its performance; processing required by law is based on the relevant obligations. Where optional processing requires consent, consent must be collected separately and may be withdrawn.

The Fuel’Express applications do not display advertisements.

4. Location and permissions

Your device location enables the driver to find your location to deliver your fuel order. It is collected only while the application is open, with your permission. It is not collected in the background or when the application is closed. You can withdraw this permission in your phone’s settings; refusing permission may limit features that depend on it.

Notification, camera or photo permissions, where required by a feature, can also be managed in device settings. Photos are used as proof of fuel delivery and retained as supporting delivery documents.

5. Access and recipients

As required to provide the service, relevant information may be accessed by authorised APALIS staff, delivery operators and technical or payment providers involved in delivering the service. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet a legal obligation or a request from a competent authority.

APALIS uses Hostinger for hosting, Firebase to send push notifications and FlexPaie as its payment provider. Information transmitted to these services depends on the features used. You can contact APALIS for details about the information concerned and any processing outside your country.

In the Fuel’Express applications, authorised administrators and users in your organisation may access business information according to their roles.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained for the period needed to manage the account and provide the service. After account deletion, only information necessary for billing and supporting accounting documents, including photos serving as delivery evidence linked to billing, are retained for the statutory period of ten years, for traceability and to meet applicable accounting obligations. Other personal information associated with the account is deleted.

You may request details of the retention period applicable to a category of information. Safeguards must reflect its sensitivity, including restricting access to authorised individuals. Protect your credentials and report any suspected misuse of your account.

7. Requests about your information

You can contact APALIS to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or to withdraw consent for optional processing. Other rights and applicable limits depend on the rules governing your situation.

To protect your account, identity verification may be necessary before a request is processed. Provide only information needed for verification; never send your password.

8. Account and data deletion

To request deletion of your Fuel’Express account and associated information, use the link below or email developers@apalis.supply or enock.kabamba@apalis.supply. Specify the application and the email address or phone number linked to the account.

APALIS processes your deletion request within a maximum of 30 days of receiving it, after verifying your identity. Your account and associated personal information are deleted, except for information necessary for billing and supporting accounting documents, including photos serving as delivery evidence linked to billing, retained for the statutory period of ten years. APALIS sends you confirmation once deletion is completed. Deletion does not remove the need to settle outstanding orders or invoices. For an account linked to a business, also identify your organisation so your personal information can be located.

Request account deletion by email

9. Policy updates

This policy may change as features and data processing practices evolve. The update date appears at the top of this page. Changes requiring specific notice or renewed consent must be communicated through an appropriate channel.
